The challenge

Madera is a premium, ready-to-drink Manhattan cocktail aged in barrels. It needed an identity that could stand next to established spirits brands: exclusive and sophisticated, with a clear sense of elegance and strength.

The idea

Let the barrel set the tone. Sharp, high-contrast letterforms carry the wordmark, and a monogram M with a single drop at its centre sits inside a faceted seal that reads like an embossed stamp. Metallic textures, deep browns and a warm copper accent bring in the feeling of wood, spirit and time.

What I did

Led the project and designed the logo, wordmark and seal, then built the visual elements around them: the colour palette, the bottle label, stationery and branded textiles, social and web touchpoints, and a series of campaign images that place the bottle in the evenings it is made for.

The result

A brand that looks at home on a bar shelf, a barrel head or a phone screen. The seal works as a quiet stamp on its own, the wordmark carries the bottle and the campaign, and together they position Madera as a distinguished premium spirit.
